Ingredients

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 container whipped topping
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the chocolate cake according to the package instructions.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Poke holes in the cake using a fork, about 1 inch apart.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup over the holes in the cake.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
- Spread whipped topping over the cooled cake.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top before serving.
Notes
- This cake can be decorated with additional chocolate shavings if desired.
- For a richer taste, use chocolate pudding instead of sweetened condensed milk.
