- 200 grams dark chocolate
- 100 grams sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with vanilla until soft peaks form, then fold it into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a cake mold and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use chocolate with at least 70% cocoa.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
