Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 100g butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 120g all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the melted chocolate mixture and vanilla extract to the eggs.
  5. Stir in the cayenne pepper, flour, and salt until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into tart shells and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more cayenne pepper.
  • Serve with whipped cream for contrast.
