- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a pan until crispy, then chop.
- In the crockpot, combine diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, vegetable broth, chopped turkey bacon, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Before serving, stir in the heavy cream and fresh basil.

- Add more vegetables for added flavor.
- Use low-fat cream for a lighter version.
