Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add diced chicken to the skillet; sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  4. Add garlic, bell pepper, and onion to the skillet; sauté until softened.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth. Add cooked fettuccine and bacon to the sauce, tossing to combine.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add more Cajun seasoning.
  • This dish can also be made with shrimp instead of chicken.
