Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water or milk to a boil.
- Add rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Serve oatmeal topped with the cream cheese mixture and additional cinnamon if desired.
