- 1/4 cup icing sugar (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- In another bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Roll the dough up and cut into pieces.
- Place the pieces in a greased muffin tin.
- Let the muffins rise again before baking.
- Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.
- Let cool and drizzle with icing sugar glaze.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add nuts or raisins to the filling.
- These muffins are best enjoyed fresh.
