Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add in melted butter, salt, cinnamon, and flour. Mix until combined.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Incorporate the raisins into the dough.
- Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Divide the dough into equal parts and shape them into muffins.
- Let the muffins rise again for 30 minutes.
- Cook on a hot griddle for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle extra cinnamon on top before cooking.
- Serve with butter or jam for a delicious treat.
