- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk, warmed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add melted butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread raspberry jam and chopped chocolate on top.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into buns. Place them on a baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For an extra touch, drizzle with a chocolate glaze after baking.
