Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Damp the edges of the wrapper with water, fold, and seal them tightly.
  4. In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat and add sliced mushrooms and chopped green onions. Sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Carefully add the wontons and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until they are cooked through.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add some chili oil before serving.
  • Add more vegetables like bok choy or spinach for added nutrition.
