- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups egg noodles
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté the onion, carrots, and celery until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth, and bring to a boil.
- Add in the chicken, turkey bacon, thyme, and pepper.
- Stir in the egg noodles and cook until tender.
- Season with salt as needed and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like parsley.
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
