- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add ground chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Toast the hamburger buns slightly, then spoon the chicken mixture onto the buns.
- Top each with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Great served with a side salad or fries.
