Instructions
- In a large pot, combine chicken broth, diced carrots, celery, onion, thyme, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in milk until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the boiling broth. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add shredded chicken to the pot, stir gently, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.

- For extra flavor, add herbs like parsley or rosemary.
