- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon onion, diced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onions until cooked through.
- In a large bowl, mix the diced potatoes, cooked beef, soup, milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding some herbs like thyme or rosemary.
- You can use frozen potatoes to save time.
