- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Once the mixture starts boiling, stop stirring and allow it to cook until it turns a deep amber color.
- Remove from heat and carefully stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Let it cool before transferring to a bottle.
Notes
- For a thicker syrup, add more sugar.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
