- 2 pounds carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the sliced carrots to the bowl and toss until well coated.
- Pour the carrots into a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until tender and caramelized.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg.
- These carrots can be made ahead and reheated when needed.
