- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 pound cooked chicken, diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Add chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
- Add broccoli, carrots, and cooked chicken. Simmer until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy your comforting soup!

- For a thicker soup, blend a portion of it after cooking.
