Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.
- Add chicken broth and broccoli, bringing to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until broccoli is tender.
- Stir in shredded chicken, cream, and cheese. Cook until cheese is melted and soup is heated through.
- Season with black pepper to taste and serve warm.
Notes
- For a thicker soup, blend a portion of the soup and return it to the pot.
- Customize by adding additional vegetables like carrots or cauliflower.
