- 1 pound bowtie pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until soft.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Notes
- For added flavor, use fresh herbs instead of dried.
- This dish can be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
