Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until soft.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

  • For added flavor, use fresh herbs instead of dried.
