- 1 pound turkey bacon
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for gravy)
- 2 cups milk (for gravy)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (for gravy)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add milk gradually, stirring until just combined.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, and roll out to 1 inch thickness. Cut into rounds.
- Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, whisk in flour for gravy, cooking for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk while stirring continuously until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve biscuits topped with turkey bacon and gravy.
