Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine besan, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and asafoetida.
  2. Slowly add water and stir to form a smooth batter.
  3. Mix in the onions, tomatoes, and coriander leaves.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
  5. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the skillet and spread it into a round shape.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter.
