- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until it thickens. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in the shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, chicken ham, and cheese sauce. Stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a crunchy topping, add breadcrumbs or more cheese before baking.
- You can substitute turkey bacon with regular bacon if desired.
