Ingredients

  • 4 croissants
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 6 slices chicken ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté turkey bacon until crispy.
  3. Slice croissants in half and spread Dijon mustard on the insides.
  4. Layer turkey bacon and chicken ham on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the ham and bacon.
  6. Top with the other half of the croissant and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and croissants are golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • Add herbs or spices to the cheese for extra flavor.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute turkey bacon with a plant-based alternative.
