- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup apples, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to the creamed mixture.
- Fold in chopped apples.
- Pour batter into a greased pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
- Best served warm.
- Add a drizzle of icing for extra sweetness.
