Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 slices cooked bacon
- 1/2 apple, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
- Layer with cheddar cheese, bacon, and apple slices.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding a dash of cinnamon to the apples before grilling.
- Serve with a side of tomato soup for a classic pairing.
